Adaptronics, Inc. is currently developing a "smart" UT and EC interpretive instrument under funding by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI Contract Nu. RP1125). The instrument, denoted the "ALN 4000 Process Analysis Microcomputer", is a dual microprocessor microcomputer system.
